Swimming: New Zealand's former swimmer Danyon Loader celebrating completed the Men's 400m Freestyle Final at Atlanta 1996 Olympics.

New Zealand's former swimmer Danyon Loader celebrating that he won the Men's 400 Freestyle Swimming Final of Atlanta 1996 Olympics at Georgia Tech Aquatic Center, Atlanta, Goergia, USA.

Let's talk about his performance in this event's information:
New Zealand's former swimmer Danyon Loader wasn't finished however in Atlanta, USA.
His favourite event, the 200m Butterfly was held during the heat session and unfortunately he wasn't able to repeat his success from Barcelona 1992 Olympics in July 1992.
The Russian world record holder Denis Pankratov (Russian: Денис Панкратов) completed the Butterfly double with his gold medal, whereas Danyon Loader couldn't even qualify for the B final. It could have been excepted that Loader would have been satisfied with one gold medal and more. Yet again he was to surprise the swimming world and show why New Zealanders will always be tenacious competitors at the Olympics. With the 400m Freestyle Heats beginning and the former world record holder Kieren Perkins (Former Australia swimmer) out of contention Tom Dolan (Former USA swimmer) has emerged as the gold medal favorite. However, Tom Dolan was feeling the effects of winning the 400m Individual Medley two days earlier, and his time of 3.53.91 in the 5th Heat that meant he wasn't in the Final one. In the 4th Heat the Italian former swimmer Massimiliano Rosolino and Emiliano Brembilla qualified for the Final with times that were approximately 6 seconds behind Kieren Perkins' World record. Third fastest qualifier was Jorg Hoffman (German:Jörg Hoffmann), who is a former freestyle swimmer from Germany, who won the bronze medal in the 1500 m freestyle at the 1992 Summer Olympics, whlist Danyon Loader was the 4th fastest (this claiming lane 6 in the Final).
New Zealand was poised to claim another swimming medal, and it was up to Danyon Loader to deliver.
