(Tokyo, Japan) At the IAAF World Championships 1991, that was a truly great race with the Great British team pipping the the USA with just yards to go.The GB team unusually opened with their fastest runner, Roger Black, usually the anchor man,so as to keep in touch with the US runners.This worked well,and it was left to Kriss Akabusi to take the American Antonio Pettigrew down the home straight and claim gold.
